Detention Line:
The Refugee Legal Centre operates a telephone advice line for detained clients. This line is available Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10.30 am until 4.30 pm. The line is closed for lunch between 1.00 pm and 2.00 pm.
Detention Advice Surgeries:
The Refugee Legal Centre holds Advice Surgeries for clients detained under UK Immigration and Asylum Act powers.
We currently visit the following centres:
- Colnbrook Immigration Removal Centre
- Dover Immigration Removal Centre
- Harmondsworth Detention Centre
- HMP Holloway
- Rochester Young Offenders Institution.
- Tinsley House Immigration Removal Centre
We are on the rota of the duty legal representative scheme for fast track cases in Yarl’s Wood and the super fast track rota in Harmondworth Immigration Removal Centres.
Foreign National Prisoners
The Refugee Legal Centre visit and advice foreign national prisoners detained in Prisons and Young Offenders Institutions.
